What is Code 250?

“Code” is rail height in thousandths of an inch.

Code 250 = 0.250″ (¼ inch) profile for a realistic, durable track build.
Use & Installation

Suitable for indoor or outdoor layouts; built to handle hot and cold climates.

Pair with tie strips (sold separately) to assemble track; use a rail bender to form smooth curves.

Connecting Rail Pieces
In addition to rail joiners, you can use rail clamps to connect your layout. Rail clamps are sold separately. Sunset Valley offers a variety of rail clamps and joiners, including adapter clamps to join code 250 and code 332 rail.
