Premium Code 250 narrow gauge track for G gauge layouts, available in brass, aluminum, or stainless steel. Each 6-ft section includes 2 brass rail joiners to connect the track to your layout.

Material
- Brass – when installed outdoors, brass will weather to an attractive brown color. Great when running track power
- Stainless Steel – will not weather, usually does not need cleaning, great for track power
- Aluminum – a great budget choice that will hold up for live steam and battery power
What is Code 250?
- “Code” is rail height in thousandths of an inch.
- Code 250 = 0.250″ (¼ inch) profile for a realistic, durable track build.
Use & Installation
- All materials are suitable for indoor or outdoor layouts; built to handle hot and cold climates

- Use a rail bender (sold separately) to create curves in your track
Shipping
- Ships in two packages: a protective tube, typically via USPS for the rail, and a box for the tie strips and joiners.
- International: to reduce shipping costs, we can cut into 3-ft sections on request
Tie Strips
Flexible 1 foot (12 inch) narrow gauge tie strips slide onto the rail and include UV protection for long life indoors or out.
Connecting Track Pieces
In addition to rail joiners, you can use rail clamps (sold separately) to connect our mainline track to your layout. Rail clamps are sold separately. Sunset Valley offers a variety of rail clamps and joiners, including adapter clamps to join code 250 and code 332 rail.
